The first CityRay delivered in 2023 went to Armidale Regional Council in NSW on January 16th. The unit featured standard extras plus a screen vibrator and pneumatic assist on the rear pit sucker at no additional cost. The council also requested window tinting, hand wash with soap dispenser, beacon guards, and a weed spray unit.
Customers have praised the CityRay's excellent suction with low noise and reduced dust emissions. The design channels dust into the hopper, redistributing much of it back into the suction path to minimise atmospheric release.
The sweeper features two independent high-pressure pumps with multiple spray bars and jets strategically positioned for efficient dust suppression. All units are PM10 and PM2.5 certified, making them environmentally responsible without sacrificing performance.
Key customer attractions include ease of operation through ergonomic design and joystick controls, plus comprehensive safety features standard on all units: three emergency stops, door interlocks preventing operation when open, a three-way camera system with blind spot coverage, and full Plant Assessor reports completed pre-delivery.
